Sindh’s festival for languages,
literature and heritage

Event terms

Last updated 27 October 2026

These terms apply to visitors, pass holders, volunteers, speakers and stallholders at the Sindh Literature Festival organised by Sindh Literary Foundation.

The festival

SLF 2026 takes place on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 November 2026 at Mohatta Palace Museum, Karachi. Programme times, stages and sessions may change. We will publish updates on sindhliteraturefestival.com when we can.

Entry is free with a valid pass. Capacity is limited. A pass does not guarantee entry if the venue or a day is full, or if safety rules require us to stop admitting people.

Passes

You must book a pass in your own name (or a named family member on a family booking). Show the pass QR at the gate when asked. Passes are personal; do not sell them.

We may cancel a pass that was obtained by misuse, false details, or that puts others at risk. Cancelled passes will not scan as valid.

Conduct and safety

Everyone on site must follow the Code of Conduct, stewards’ instructions, and venue rules. We may refuse entry or ask someone to leave if needed for safety or to protect others.

Do not bring weapons, illegal items, or anything the venue bans. Bag checks may apply.

Recordings and photography

The festival may be photographed or filmed. By attending, you understand you may appear in crowd or session coverage used to document and promote SLF. If you need a quieter arrangement, speak to stewards or contact us before the event.

Liability

We organise the festival with care, but we are not responsible for personal property lost or damaged on site, or for travel you arrange yourself, except where Pakistani law does not allow that limit.

Third-party stalls, publishers and partners run their own offers; their terms apply to what they sell or give away.

Changes and cancellation

We may change the programme, move sessions, or cancel the festival for reasons outside our control (including weather, venue, or safety). We will share news on the website and, where we can, by email to pass holders who asked for updates.
